Woolly mammoths are known as the ancient elephants they have long hair in the body and have small ears. Woolly Mammoth specially live in cold area so they have thick layer of hair in their body. Their trunk is also longer than the elephants of today. Today's elephants do not have hair in their body and have huge ears because they love live in hot area.

What made the woolly mammoth to extinct from this world?

It is a huge question. Extinction Of woolly mammoth has not been very long time yet. They have Extinct a thousand or two thousand years ago. This was because of the absence of food. As the mammoths live in cold area it is difficult to find food there, because of lack of energy they can't walk for long-distance, due to which they got Frozen and were extinct. According to new biologist they can be born again and bring in to live. Recently scientists have found the latest fossil,  It is believed to bring the woolly mammoth life in this present area.
